In-stock orders ship within 3 to 7 handling days, Monday to Friday, by FedEx or USPS, and every delivery needs a signature. Hoods ship by freight. You can return an unused part within 30 days, less a 20% restocking fee.

Returns, refunds & exchanges

Email sales@special-carbonfiber.com within 30 days of purchase to request a refund. We will give you a tracking number for the return.

Mail the part to Special Carbon Fiber, Inc., 1670 Elm Ave, San Diego CA 92154.

Include a signed letter with the reason for the return and your original receipt.

The part must be new and unused, in its original box and packed so it arrives undamaged, unless there is a manufacturer defect. Returns carry a 20% restocking fee and you pay the return shipping.
Original shipping and handling is not refunded. Your card is charged when you place the order; if we cannot fill it for any reason, we refund the card.

How long does shipping take?

How do you ship hoods?
Hoods do not go by FedEx. They ship by freight in a box of about 60 x 50 x 5 inches weighing 25-30 lb. Email info@special-carbonfiber.com for a freight quote, or to arrange pickup with your own shipping agent.
What Kevlar colours can I get?
Kevlar carbon parts come in red, yellow and blue Kevlar, depending on the part. Kevlar orders are made by pre-order only: email us your colour choice with your year and model when you order.
Can I return a part?
Yes, within 30 days of purchase if it is new and unused in the original box, unless there is a manufacturer defect. Email sales@special-carbonfiber.com for a return number first. Returns carry a 20% restocking fee and the original shipping is not refunded.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes. International customers, Puerto Rico and APO addresses should email us for a shipping rate before placing an order.
