Special Carbon Fiber makes carbon fiber and fiberglass auto parts in Chula Vista, California, with over 10 years in automotive manufacturing. We are a self-owned business, and that is how we keep our prices where they are: no middlemen between the shop and your car.
Today the catalog runs to 363 parts for 22 platforms. Most of them are for the 1988-2009 Hondas, Acuras, Mitsubishis, Fords and Dodges that the tuner scene was built on, and that still need parts nobody else makes.
How every
part is made
Real 2x2 twill 3K carbon fiber cloth, laid over a mold by hand, set in resin, then clear-coated for UV protection and a long-lasting shine.
- All carbon parts use 2x2 twill, 3K, 5.7 oz cloth: AS4 aerospace fiber at 644 ksi.
- The cloth is woven tighter than most, which keeps the weave straight on the finished part.
- Kevlar carbon is available in red, yellow and blue, made to order.
- Fiberglass parts come gel-coated in white or black and are all paintable.
- Because every part is hand-made, no two are identical, and small marks in the weave or clear coat are normal.
